This meant we arrived to our hotel a day late and had to check out a day early in order to make our transfers that had been wrongly sold to us at the cost of 2 days all inclusive accommodation and then a further cost to ourselves to find alternate accommodation on the main land. To make matters far worse teletext then sold us new transfers as part of our deal, transfers that did not actually run at the time of our arrival and departure (pointed out by myself on the phone but "guaranteed" to get us to our hotel by the incompetent and rude agent I dealt with. They have completely ignored 2 formal letters of complaints after promising a response within 28 days - this was in June! After urging people on Facebook and Twitter to avoid them they finally replied with the seemingly standard response of "we are so sorry, please can we have your booking reference so we can chase this matter up" surprise surprise, no response even after over 30 emails sent chasing these letters up (all containing every reference number/complaint ticket number under the sun! Teletext firstly failed to honour our ATOL protection (without explanation) when part of our holiday fell through and we were forced to accept poorer quality accommodation which cost far less than we paid (without compensation as also stated in our ATOL protection). We endured a nightmare holiday to Mexico in April and are still trying to get a response from this company nearly 5 months later. Their customer service is absolutely appalling. We have been completely let down by teletext and would tell everyone to avoid them.
